Around the Lake

This summer around the lake you could enjoy Jimmy Buffet on Bull Frog Blvd.

The East side opened The Fin Club and offered music, games, water sports and tasty fair including Tropical appetizers such as Jerk Chicken wings, Shark head mixed fruit, Island veggies, margarita dip, plenty to drink including of course the “Hurricane”.

Guests watched in awe as pirates from the Southwest side crossed the lake on their “boat” to join the party and partake in the fun.

In good spirit, they offered us all a meal. We crossed the lake and joined them at their lair where we were entertained, served grilled chicken and shrimp, baked potatoes and corn on the cob. In jolly good spirit the pirates returned the “bounty” to folks who had found items missing at their own cabins.

To complete the splendid night the Northwest side to the lake invited all to their camp, CAMP YOST LAKE that is.

There we had crafts to make, games to play and even a tent and camp fire. After games of tug-of- war and more we were offered S’mores to tempt our taste buds, snacked on watermelon and danced the night away.
